Place is pretty much dead and empty. If you like to explore nearly abandoned structures this could be the place for you.
There is almost nothing in the Palatka Mall. Certainly not a place to do lots of shopping. No department stores, since JC Penney closed. It's actually a pretty sad, desolate place. Other than a discount shoe store, a close outs store, and a cheap clothing store, not much to see here. There is a small movie theater here, as well. Best to go to St Augustine or Jacksonville if you're looking to do serious shopping.
Needs updating to building and parking lots but we just love shopping here plenty of parking very nice customer service and stores are organized we try and get to this location at least twice a month we would go more but it's 54 miles from where we live.
It's pretty much empty. There are only like 2 stores and military recruiters. They really need to work on renovating and updating this place and it could be a hub for shopping in Palatka.
I went to vist the new pet store in there called Cabinwood pet store. The owner is very friendly and helpful I give 5 stars for the pet store. All should go and visit them.
