Extremely accommodating staff. We didn't stay here but we held a company meeting in their meeting room. Bobbi was incredibly attentive to our needs and helpful beyond any expectation. If Mr. Rogers had a hotel instead of a neighborhood, this would be it in the most unexpected of places. I'll hang my company's cardigan here again without hesitation.
This is a nice hotel with a very clean interior and nice modern rooms. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is due to the location. It is in a very inconvenient area to get in and out
Terrible experience while here on business! Parts of ceiling started falling in my room. Management informed me it was still safe to remain in the room but would try to move me the FIRST opportunity they got. The following day, after returning in the evening, had to inform management that housekeeping failed to clean up the debris (chunks of stucco) from the ceiling or any of the regular housekeeping services. Thinking that I would be offered the NEXT available room, as I was told, I packed up my bags over the past two days to avoid others handling my belongings. This apparently confused the staff making them think I had left prior to my reservation checkout WITHOUT checking out. Today they turned off the AC so I entered a room over 80 degrees after getting off of work. Poor service made a bad situation much worse! There were so many opportunities that could have turned this around, but it was one mishap after another that caused this to be terrible. After seeing people check in and out and still remaining in the same room, I realize that I was not the priority that they told me I was. I will probably not choose to stay at this Hampton Inn again. The minimum level of service was not provided to one of its Platinum members. I was extremely patient over the past three days, but as a guest I should not be the one having to check up on management and its staff to ensure I am getting the service that I could have easily gotten somewhere else, and had expected to get here. I was offered a free snack for my inconveniences, clearly I am not a valued customer after all.
We have stayed here twice. The staff is great and the place has always been neat and clean. They have a full breakfast from 6-10 am which is included with the room. The location is really nice being right on the river. Paying a little extra for a room on the side facing the river is worth it, as the sun rise over the water makes for a awesome start to the day. This is a great place to stay.
The service was great. The breakfast was an added bonus. The revitalized waterfront walk is nice. Even though our room was humid, I would stay here anytime.
