how this place has anything above 1 star is beyond me. This place is just like putnam county and palatka in a nutshell, completely horrible in every regard. I went in once after waking up at 3am in the morning have immense hot and cold chills, literally going from sweating for 30 seconds to absolutely freezing the next 30 seconds. Doctor came stumbling in looked like he just rolled out of bed, put the stethoscope on me and looked in my ear and said "you're as healthy as a horse." Left the place and went somewhere else I can't remember and found out I had a serious issue and was on top of that suffereing severe dehydration. I'm not sure what's worse, this "hospital" that is clearly owned by the mafia being my best guess, or the county and town it resides in. Iraq has better hospitals
Being in the area only a few years I have been to the ER a few times always good experience. My husband was just in there for 4 days. All staff from housekeeping to the doctors were so awesome. They kept us informed and someone always came by to check and see if we need anything. The rooms wew clean. I talked to one of the nurses and told her the horror stories and she said they have changed a lot and still working on getting better.... they deserve a chance Thank you to all of u
I've never been there, but after talking to friends in the community and reading the reviews I won't be going. I was a corpsman on a SEAL team and a Paramedic in a FD in Va for 26 years, and it is patently obvious that the management of this "hospital" feels no obligation to correct any issues reported as the same issues are repeated over and over. If they treated my wife or myself with the disdain I've read about....I'd be going to jail. Nuff said
I must say how pleasantly surprised I was. My brother was brought in by ambulance a week ago and was placed in the intensive care unit. He slipped quietly away this morning. The care he received while there was every bit as fine as in a big-city facility. I can't say enough for the staff. They treated us like part of their family. Thank you thank you thank you!
Extortion! A healthy uninsured 23 yr old male with a cyst goes in to ER for treatment & they Hand not mail hand him a bill for $14,720? Then they say if you pay 10% today, you won’t owe anymore. Since when do they hand a patient an ER bill? They extorted $1500 out of us today. He’s been there 8 hours and they’re running
up bills they know he can’t pay. So we pay it so he’s not saddled with a $15,000 bill he can never pay cause he makes $8.00 an hour. What a bunch of crooks! They’ve gotten their last cent out of my family. I will be calling my attorney tomorrow to see if this extortion is legal.
