I'm aware that sometimes clinics (especially when highly rated & recommended!) can be booked up solid for months on end. When I asked whether or not there were any openings within the next month or so I was told that they would need to have my records before they could make that determination.
Most knowledgeable doctor in Florida! He gives out the best suggestions, takes time to answer his patient's questions. His practice of curcumcision is the most precise technique. Highly recommend his for OB and GYN care.
I need to start off by stating that I haven't actually been seen by this physician. This review is about the experience I had while trying to schedule an appointment:
I've been looking around for a good GYN and tried to make an appointment with this office. When I called, I was told that I can't make an appointment until I come into their office and sign medical record release forms. (Then, once I had done that they could discuss scheduling with me.) It was particularly strange because I'm not seeking care for any chronic or acute issue that would necessitate having my past medical records in hand before being seen... I was simply trying to set up an appointment for a normal yearly check-up.
Great man. Really knows his stuff.
I have been dealing with Chrohns Disease & SLE for 12 years. I'm *very* familiar with how the process is usually handled, but I've never had an office handle new patients this way. It's a bit of a bummer. I really need to get established with a good GYN (I'm 29 and have been pondering how I should approach having children... but I'm not even sure if I *can* have children.) I'm a little bit bummed out because people seem to love this doctor, but their approach/process for scheduling new patients is a bit too odd for me.
